Boolean Searching Task

This is the first time I have ever used Boolean searching techniques or logics. I have never been aware of a such a logic. Thanks to NET11 who have taught me how to search on the web easily and in many different ways. The logice is to use "and" "or" "not" properly with the key words in the search. Boolean tutorial is something every one should have a look for a better understanding of how to search on the web properly.
For my Boolean searching task I used Google again and the results as follows;

Lastly I used the advanced search in google and defined my search to edu websites. The snapshot as follows.

I noticed the difference in the number of hits as I proceed to specify more accurately what I was searching for. That is just one key word "information" brought 3,630,000,000 hits and when I specified more key words such as "information" +"communication" + "university" it only showed 52,900,000 hits.
